Road check 2013 is on our heels.  Thanks goes out to the Arizona Truckers Association for giving me the opportunity to spend a couple of days with the officers on the ground.  I enjoy this opportunity because I am able to glance into the minds of the officers and learn what they will be looking for when we get inspected. Opportunities like this allow me to make sure we are in compliance and learn about new rules that are coming out or changes that have been made.  Last year was a great learning experience and I look to this year to be the same.

The event will be on June 3-5th.  During this time each truck traveling on I-40 will be pulled in and inspected by law enforcement, so be ready.

Please let me know if there is something you would like to have me ask the officers while I am there, I would be happy to help you.

Here she is.  Chris is behind the wheel taking this 105,000# crusher to it's next job in Flagstaff.

A great big thanks to our crew in Phoenix who took the time to make this trailer what it is.  They painted it, changed all the lights to LED's re-wired it and had any cracks welded up as well as making out-rigger boards and getting the wheels polished.  They did a great job at making the trailer work and look great.  Thanks again..

Weenie Wagon a great success

Our safety event in 2013 which we held with the help of APS was a great success… We had 45 people attend the event; attendees came from many business and governmental agencies here in Northern Arizona as well as participants from heavy haul companies based in Phoenix.  Carl from APS did a phenomenal job with the presentation where he described what can happen if you come into contact with power lines.  He blew up a couple of hotdogs and roasted the inside of a grapefruit in just a portion of a second of contact with around 7000 volts of electricity.  Go to our main website to see pictures of the event.  Please don’t hesitate to comment via our contact us link if you would like to see this or other events in the future.
